Discover Africa Group requires a Product Developer to manage all products, rates and relationships with suppliers for Southern Africa and East Africa.

Job Description

• Select suppliers and products - Southern Africa and East Africa
• Negotiate STO contracts and rates
• Develop good relations with suppliers
• Identify products to be included on websites
• Develop unique packages for websites
• Manage all product details and rates in back-office system and website CMS
• Work closely with travel consultants and sales manager

Required

• Two years experience as travel consultant
• Three years experience as product developer - Southern Africa and East Africa
• Good verbal and written communication
• High attention to detail
• Passion for Africa travel

Beneficial

• Travelled/worked in Southern Africa and/or East Africa
• Experience at an online travel company
• Basic understanding of HTML and SEO (search engine optimisation)
• Experience using Globetrack Tour Operator software
• Experience using website CMS (content management systems)
